Dallas Rapper Yella Beezy Indicted for Capital Murder in Mo3’s 2020 Killing
Dallas rapper Markies Deandre Conway, known as Yella Beezy, has been arrested and indicted on a charge of capital murder in connection with the 2020 shooting death of fellow rapper Melvin Noble, professionally known as Mo3.
A Dallas County grand jury issued the indictment this week, accusing Conway of orchestrating the killing in a murder-for-hire scheme. Authorities allege he paid to have Mo3 targeted and executed.
Mo3 was shot and killed on November 11, 2020, in broad daylight on Interstate 35E near Marsalis Avenue. According to police, he attempted to flee on foot after being pursued by a gunman but was ultimately shot multiple times. The incident was caught on traffic cameras and widely circulated.
Two other men, Kewon Dontrell White and Devin Maurice Brown, had already been indicted in connection with the case. White was charged with murder and later indicted in February 2021, while Brown was accused of helping coordinate the attack.
Investigators reportedly used phone records and surveillance footage to link the suspects to Mo3’s location in the hours leading up to the shooting. Federal prosecutors also charged White and Brown with additional crimes, including firearm and drug offenses. White was caught with a 9mm pistol while attempting to flee authorities, while Brown was arrested with a stolen AK-47, drugs, and cash in his possession.
The case remains under investigation as Conway now faces trial for his alleged role in the murder.
